Liopleurodon

Liopleurodon was a large marine reptile that lived during the Late Jurassic period, many years ago. It was a type of pliosaur with a short neck, huge head, powerful jaws, and four strong flippers. It was an apex predator that hunted fish, squid, and other marine reptiles. Liopleurodon may have reached around 6–7 metres long (some older estimates were much larger), making it one of the most formidable hunters of the Jurassic seas.
